Went with a senior group. Nice town, friendly people. Shops seemed a little too pricey for me. Enjoyed the Bluebonnet Cafe. Would have liked to get out on the river or lake. I'm sure there were ways to do that but would have been unable since I was with this group.

We enjoyed our visit to Marble Falls during the holiday season. The Main Street was decorated nice for the holidays and had a lovely ice skating rink available. Some of the restaurants were pet friendly and we were able to enjoy a nice meal with our dog outside at Adriano’s Italian Restaurant. We headed to the Walkway of Lights after visiting Main Street and several great shops.

Great little town in the middle of the hill country, surrounded by lakes, parks, boating, hunting, fishing, golf courses, breweries, wine vineyards and more. Visit for the day or a week. There is something to do and participate in all the time. Enjoy what the Texas Hill Country has to offer, enjoy Marble Falls! Their restaurants, shops and people are always inviting. Visit and you'll want to come again.

Beautiful building filled with wonderful knowledgeable volunteers. They had answers to all of my questions and were even able to provide information that I didn't know I needed. Fabulous collection of brochures and clean restrooms. Make this your 1st stop, you won't be disappointed.

I only live about an hour from here. I went for a weekend getaway with my wife and we loved it! All the restaurants we visited were amazing. Such a beauty during the holidays. Lots of things to do. I will be coming here more often when I want to getaway and not break the bank.

So, funny story!!! My mom and I were on a hill country tour, and decided to visit Marble Falls, because I had seen pictures of Marble Falls and thought I had seen actual pics of Water falls!!!
So off we went to see the falls. Upon arriving we drove and drove and drove around the city, the parks and so forth to find the gorgeous falls we were sure we had seen on the Internet and in pics!!!
Well guess what?!!!!!!!! There are NO FALLS in Marble Falls!!!
It was named for water that rolled over some rocks years and years ago!! Like back in the
1900’s.
It was a very disappointing city with really nothing much to do, except a few cool stores.

Missed the excellent Texas Trails county maps they had at old location. Fortunately, we found the maps in the Llano visitor center. The Texas Trails maps are outstanding aids for exploring the Hill Country.

On many visits to the visitor center in the old depot you had Texas Trails maps of all Hill Country Counties. These are excellent maps with detail showing all roads for true exploring not just some representative roads. I scanned a couple covers, but don't see how to add the scan.
