We really enjoyed our tour, it was interesting and fun. Our guide whose name I did not get was so good with all the children on the tour and kept us adults engaged too. Was fascinating to learn more about Roman Chester such a different way to see the city.

Quintus y Julius fueron nuestros guías en este tour a pie por la ciudad de Chester el día de hoy. Son excelentes guías, nos envolvió muchísimo la narrativa que mantuvieron todo el recorrido, contestaban todas nuestras dudas y a pesar de que solo éramos dos personas en el tour… nos hicieron pasar 90 minutos increíbles! De verdad son excelentes guías y feliz volveríamos a tomar un tour con ellos. Gracias Quintus y Julius de parte de Emma y Luis de México!!!!!!!

My dad booked a private tour for my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide was Sextus (he had three names but I can’t remember the other two) who was so knowledgeable and interesting. You can tell he’s really passionate about the history of Chester, and made the tour so fun. I had the best time, and would definitely recommend the Roman Tours!

Our guide explained that chester had been continually occupied for 2000 years so lots had been lost to time. Through our soldiers excellent knowledge and narrative we were able to envision a great deal. I learnt a lot and my nine year old who had been studying the Romans loved it.
Our tour ran over by around 20mins mainly due to the soldiers brilliant interaction with the children. Our soldier Attius Caler patiently answered their questions with detail and enthusiasm.
Chesters sreets are old and many are cobbled, even so I managed to keep up with the tour with my son in his disability buggy.
You will need a hat if it is sunny.

Had a really great tour this morning and we learned a lot! Was great to see another side to the city and really enjoyed the sites. Would highly recommend to learn about the Roman ways and some stuff still existing today. Thank you “ugly” for the tour and the wealth of knowledge! ?

An excellent experience and thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The tour guides knowledge of Roman history was brilliant and as it was only my brother and myself on the tour, we were able to ask questions. The tour was so informative and feel like I learnt so much. Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Really informative but still entertaining.
Took us to see parts of Roman Chester we wouldn't have known were there. Skipio, our guide, was very knowledgeable. Great value for money.

Titus showed us the Roman sights and shared his wealth of knowledge of life in Roman Chester. The tour is great for young and old. There is not a lot of walking involved. Great jokes Titus.
