The tour was a pretty big disappointment. To start the night, a small 24 passenger bus was sent versus the large motorcoach described in the details, totally not the tour guides fault, though it seemed to put her in a bad mood for the night. We all crammed into the small bus, except the guide, as there was no room for her and her family that she brought along. The first desert stop was under whelming, a very small place and we were told to wait outside once we got our desert for 20 minutes, then another 20 minutes while we waited for the larger bus.
Once in the motor coach things picked up, but as someone else mentioned much more driving around than seeing lights. The second stop was OK, but the 3rd stop at Picolé Pops, made the night. The gourmet popsicles were amazing!
The entertainment on the bus by the host was pretty lame, and even though it was posted as adults only there were two kids on the bus, not that it had any impact they were well behaved, just surprised.
We stopped at two houses that were fantastic, and good photo ops, but the rest of the light tour was just OK.
The trip was over 4 hours. Thankfully we brought our own beverages to enjoy on the bus, but requesting ice or even a cup seemed to put the host out.
Not a tour I would do again, thankfully my family took it all in stride.

My friend and I signed up for the Wine/Christmas lights tour (12/14) and we had a decent time. We were able to taste 3 different wines from an Italian restaurant in North Dallas along with flatbreads and charcuterie. It would’ve been nice to have a white wine instead of the 2 reds that were chosen to go along with the rosé. After that, we were taken for dessert and I thoroughly enjoyed that as the gelato was amazing!

Then the lights tour started and we hit spots in park cities that were notable for their Christmas lights. I had high expectations but was very underwhelmed by the effort of lights this year. Our very last stop was to the popular house off Deloach Avenue. I wish we would’ve went here first so we could’ve had a chance to see the house - instead when we arrived it was a madhouse and we wasn’t able to see the house.

The hostess was nice, they provided drinks while on the tour, and was nice enough to make a stop for a bathroom break. Overall, it was a decent time and something new to try!

We took the Dallas Christmas light tour. The tour was pretty good. A little long and too many stops at shops that had nothing to do with Christmas lights. Tour was almost 4 hours long. Would have been better to cut back to just 2 hours and skip the shopping stops.

I went on the Christmas Lightss tour out of Frisco I was expecting some really delicious deserts. Instead we were served a small couple of bites of a pie, and that was the best part of the food. We then got some soft serve ice cream and a cookie. They had hot chocolate but only 1 small thermos for 60 people. When we ask for it we got less then 1/2 a cup. . The majority of the 4 hrs were spent driving around on a large tour bus on major highways seeing no lights. I was a total bust. Save your money.

My kids and I agreed to stop giving each other junk to fill our houses with for Christmas and birthdays and to start giving experiences. Saturday my Christmas present was the Tacos and Margarita tour and I can say without hesitation, we will be talking about this for years, it was SO FUN, the food and drinks were great too!!

Rhonda was the tour guide and she is absolutely hysterical. We went to four different restaurants in different areas of Dallas for some really great tacos that were each very unique. I think there were close to 30 of us on the tour bus and every person said they planned to revisit at least one of the stops on the tour.

If it’s an experience you crave, these people deliver in a big way!

Great experience for adults friends and family! Took the adult tour - took about 3 1/2 hours. Leave from the Maple Leaf cafe which is first stop on tour so we had dinner before the tour - very good but don’t get dessert. You go in a tour bus to two more local chocolate shops with a tour guide who also pointed out local places to try for all sorts of things. During the time on the bus you are served white, red wine and at the end hot chocolate with Baileys so great for cold weather. The chocolate shops all are known for top quality chocolates and you are given samples and a chance to ask questions and of course, buy - but no pressure. The stops had restrooms but there is one on the bus as well. After the chocolate tour you go to Park and University area to see lights - great way to see the top spots and every one sees, instead of the person driving missing the lights. Jay RICHARDSON was our tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area as well as knowing the shop owners and some of the people who owned the Christmas light displays. Well worth the money or makes a great gift. We had a fabulous time.

My family and I experienced the Taste of Bishop Arts tour, and it was fantastic! Angela, our tour guide, was great, and everything exceeded expectations. Just enough (or at least, not too much) walking, and the eateries that were included provided a diverse sampling of the area and ended on a high note with some of the best ice cream you will find. Enjoyed the company and would do it again!
